    Como parte de la relicitación de tres represas en el río Skagit, Seattle City Light está pagando $1.35 mil millones a tres tribus, lo que aumentará los precios de la electricidad pero ayudará al río y las reservas.

    NEWHALEM, Wash.—Más de un siglo atrás, Seattle City Light inició la construcción de un proyecto hidroeléctrico masivo aquí en un cañón remoto de las Cascadas del Norte. Tres represas pronto impulsaron el ascenso de lo que se convertiría en una de las ciudades más ricas y liberales de América.
