    Marilyn Gatica Huanio llegó a la triple frontera entre Perú, Brasil y Colombia a fines de marzo para reunirse con sus pares, otras lideresas indígenas. Su objetivo es reducir el impacto ambiental y social que traería la construcción de la carretera Bellavista—El Estrecho, que impulsa el Gobierno peruano y que pasará por la mitad de la comunidad indígena Asháninka, así como por dos áreas protegidas: el parque nacional del Manú y el parque nacional del Tambopata.
